    Description

    Duties of the Music Director:

    • Planning of Church Programs and Activities focusing on Music and Worship
    • Coordination of the Music, Choir, and Worship Units of the church
    • Leading the Churchs Music and Worship programs
    • Coordinate weekly rehearsals of the choir and instrumentalists.
    Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required for Music Director

    • The post occupier must hold a minimum of Secondary School education.
    • A strong personal Christian faith.
    • A good knowledge of Church Music and Afro-Christian Songs
    • Knowledge of at least 2 musical instruments
    • Ability to teach some musical instruments
    • An ability to work within and maintain professional boundaries when working with people.
    • Understanding and knowledge of confidentiality and safeguarding issues.
    • A commitment and ability to work with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
