An exciting opportunity for a motivated and professional apprentice dental nurse, to train and work within a busy dental practice in the Bryn area.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn all aspects of dental nursing.
Monday - Friday, 8.Level 3 (A level)Assisting the dentist in surgery
Answering telephone calls and booking in appointments
Setting up and cleaning of surgeries
The training you will be getting
Upon completion, the apprentice will receive a Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship along with a level 3 Dental Nurse Diploma
The apprentice will attend a day release during term time, held at St Helens College Town Centre Campus
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
To become a fully qualified dental nurse
The successful applicant can progress onto post qualifications such as: radiography, impression taking, sedation and implant nursing
Desired skills and personal qualities
GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4/C) Essential
Due to working with the public, the hepatitis B vaccine is given to trainees.
Bryn Dental Practice is a well-established NHS and private dental practice and has been treating patients for over 30 years.
