Business Development Manager

A global law firm is looking to recruit a BD Manager to support their Projects, Mining and Infrastructure teams. The role will have a global remit seeing your working with teams across the US, Paris and Africa. Reporting to the Senior BD Manager you will be instrumental in driving BD activity globally.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior BD Exec who is looking to progress to BD Manager, have more autonomy and play a part in the strategic direction of the group.

Highlights

• Drafting and implementing business and marketing plans.
• Developing and implementation of global campaigns to grow new and existing business.
• Preparing marketing collateral and supporting documentation ahead of client/prospect meetings.
• Coordinating events (in conjunction with the Global Events team) and conference attendance to develop/maintain market positions matched to the business strategy and generate leads for the practice.
• Championing the use of digital platforms and social media to raise the profile of the firm and key initiatives.

About you

• Solid BD experience including business planning, pitching, client development and marketing.
• Have worked in professional services - legal, accountancy, management consultancy or real estate.
• Ability to work effectively with, and influence, partners and other key stakeholders.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects running in parallel with tight deadlines.
• A positive role model who meets new challenges with a constructive and open mind and shows enthusiasm for new opportunities and ideas.
• Regarded as a team player who is confident sharing information across a broader team.
