    Senior Manager - Prudential Risk Management (Financial Institutions) - London


    Your primary focus will be on overseeing careful risk management within the financial sector, specifically concerning prudential aspects such as capital, liquidity, recovery planning, and planning for a controlled winding down of operations.

    Your responsibilities will extend to financial institutions such as banks and building societies, while also encompassing opportunities to engage with various other types of firms like investment and payment service entities.


    Your role will encompass the management and advancement of substantial and intricate client projects.

    This includes tasks such as crafting proposals, handling project-related risks (such as evaluating risks associated with client onboarding and assignments), developing project plans, budgeting, taking the lead in client interactions and communication, overseeing project teams and your broader project portfolio, ensuring project delivery and maintaining quality standards, as well as overseeing financial aspects such as billing.


    Ideal candidate would be someone with:

    • Extensive prudential regulatory expertise acquired within the industry, consultancy, or regulatory environment (or a combination of)
    • Comprehensive technical proficiency in UK prudential regulation, encompassing capital, liquidity, and recovery planning ideally.
    • Proven track record of adeptly managing intricate projects, coupled with strong project management abilities.
    • Proficient in communication and adept at crafting reports; the candidate should exhibit confidence in delivering impactful training sessions and webinars to both clients and colleagues.
    • Thorough comprehension of EU and UK financial services legislation, including familiarity with the UK CRR, CRD, the Prudential Regulation Authority's ("PRA") Rulebook, and the Financial Conduct Authority's Handbook.
    • Skilful in effective communication and adept at managing multiple stakeholders.
    • Dedication to delivering outputs of exceptional quality and a keen focus on maintaining quality and managing risk.
