Learning and Development Manager¦ Leicester¦ UP to £25 per hour (£50k equivalent)¦ Temp to perm


Macildowie is excited to be working with an education organisation based in Leicestershire to appoint a Learning and Development Manager to take lead on organisation development and co-ordinate, plan and deliver training.


The role is paying up to £25 per hour (£50k equivalent) and is looking for someone with excellent organisation skills to design and deliver training across organisation.

The role will be on a temporary to permanent basis.


Key duties include:

  • Create, design and deliver mandatory and discretionary learning and development activities to support employee development and career progression.
  • Support the HR team with the development of the Learning and Development Plan
  • Conduct regular training needs analysis
  • Identify and assess learning & development needs
  • Work closely with managers to ensure all relevant employees gain appropriate qualifications.
  • Research new training materials and develop a 'learning library' to provide employees with supportive development resources.
  • Plan, organise and deliver development sessions to employees including the organisation and facilitation of events.
  • Develop and deliver the welcome programme.
  • Be responsible for the support, development and line management of the Learning & Development Apprentice.
