Macildowie is excited to be working with an education organisation based in Leicestershire to appoint a Learning and Development Manager to take lead on organisation development and co-ordinate, plan and deliver training.

The role is paying up to £25 per hour (£50k equivalent) and is looking for someone with excellent organisation skills to design and deliver training across organisation.

The role will be on a temporary to permanent basis.

Key duties include:

Create, design and deliver mandatory and discretionary learning and development activities to support employee development and career progression.
Support the HR team with the development of the Learning and Development Plan
Conduct regular training needs analysis
Identify and assess learning & development needs
Work closely with managers to ensure all relevant employees gain appropriate qualifications.
Research new training materials and develop a 'learning library' to provide employees with supportive development resources.
Plan, organise and deliver development sessions to employees including the organisation and facilitation of events.
Develop and deliver the welcome programme.
Be responsible for the support, development and line management of the Learning & Development Apprentice.
