    The Role:
    As a Civil Drainage/Flood Risk Engineer, you will play a key role in the company's civil engineering team


    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Drafting drainage and highways designs with a focus on drainage
    • Working on a variety of residential and nonresidential projects across the UK
    • Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Drainage Strategies, and Foul Water Drainage Strategies to support Planning Applications
    • Liaising with clients and thirdparty consultants/council officers
    • Utilizing Microdrainage/Flow software to model drainage networks
    • Providing input into draft site masterplans to ensure compliance with drainage and Flood Risk requirements

    Requirements:
    We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and experience:

    • Minimum 2 years' experience in civil engineering, particularly roads and drainage within the residential sector
    • Strong knowledge of UK Drainage/Flood Risk Regulation/Best Practice
    • Proficiency with Microdrainage/Flow, Microstation/AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
    • Proven experience with the preparation of drainage and flood risk strategies to support planning applications
    • Experience in preparing and reviewing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy documents
