    OVERVIEWAs a Junior Power Electronics Engineer, you will hold a crucial position in either designing or assisting the Senior Designer, with a primary focus on enhancing digitally controlled power supply systems.

    Drawing upon your deep knowledge of power electronics and control theory, you will actively contribute to crafting innovative solutions across diverse applications.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDEDesign or support the design and development of advanced digitally controlled power supply systems tailored to meet specific customer requirements and industry standards.

    Help to Identify and select key components, such as semiconductors, transformers, and capacitors, to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.

    Apply your knowledge of control theory to implement and fine-tune control algorithms for power supply systems, ensuring stable and precise operation.

    Focus on maximizing power conversion efficiency while minimizing losses to deliver energy-efficient solutions.
    Address EMC considerations to ensure that power supplies comply with electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards.
    Ensure that power supply designs meet relevant safety standards and work on obtaining necessary certifications.
    Collaborate with manufacturing teams to design products that are optimized for efficient and cost-effective production.
    Work to meet cost targets while maintaining quality and performance standards.
    Conduct FMEA assessments to identify potential failure modes and develop mitigation strategies.

    Investigate and resolve technical issues during the design and testing phaseStay current with emerging technologies and trends in power electronics and bring innovative ideas to enhance product performance and features.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSBachelor of Degree in Electronics Engineering or Engineering discipline.2+ years in PSU design covering a variety of topologies including buck, boost, half or full bridge.

    Design of resonant power stages.
    Must have designed magnetics for transformers and chokes.
    A good grounding in principles of PSU design.
