Description

Employment Services Officers**£23,194 - £26,845 per annum (pro-rata for part-time hours)

1 full-time post working 37 hours per week and 1 part-time position working 18. hours per week.

We are seeking to recruit Employment Services Officers to work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all pre-employment checks are carried out for all newly hired staff in line with current legislation and Council policy.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate:

Up to date knowledge and experience HR Management Systems
The ability to process new hires and make changes to employee terms and conditions in the system throughout the life cycle.
Knowledge of UK legislation relating to preemployment checks including Right to Work and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Excellent organisational and customer care skills with the ability to manage competing demands and workloads.
Experience of using Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel on a day to day basis.
Ability to collate, check and verify documents and other information from a range of sources ensuring compliance.
Accurate data input skills.

The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
