Description
Edstart Blackburn with Darwen are looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual with a passion for sports coaching.

Applicants will be required to teach sport and physical activity to children and young people within a primary school setting.

Applicants will be required to plan and work in line with the PE national curriculum. Edstart deliver a range of extra-curricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and during school holidays. Applicants should be aware they may be required to work during the school holidays.

The current position available will be on a part time basis, with the opportunity to progress onto a full time basis.


Responsibilities of an Edstart Sports Coach:

  • To plan and deliver a range of high quality sports sessions
  • Inspire young people to lead healthy, active lifestyles
  • To teach lessons in line with Ofsted criteria and PE national curriculum
  • Work closely with schools and staff to build positive relationships

Requirements to be an Edstart Sports Coach:

  • Own transport as you will be required to travel to a number of locations
  • Self motivated and have a passion for teaching/coaching sport
  • Be able to pass an enhanced DBS check and deemed safe to work with children

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 5-15 per week


Salary:
From £10.00 per hour
