CAD Technician - Oldbury, United Kingdom - Evolve Personnel Ltd

Description

We are recruiting for a CAD Technician to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The CAD Technician will work alongside the Technical Manager and will have a good working knowledge of CAD and the ability to read drawings.

As the CAD Technician you will be required too :

Re engineer existing designs

Work to requirements within budget

Develop prototypes where necessary

Produce designs that meet product requirements (Radan)

Put together detailed customer drawings, assembly drawings and bills of materials

Liaise between the production and sales departments

Keep documents up to date

Requirements:

* A knowledge of sheet metal process

Experience of tooling and nesting

Knowledge of Radan/AutoCAD

Knowledge of SolidWorks

Able to read Engineering drawings

Organisational and planning skills
