    £24,000 Per annum

    Joining us as a Territory Manager, your primary role will be creating insightful and directional analysis of the Tesco Estate newspaper and magazine category that supports the Tesco Field Team in their objectives of growing sales, addressing under performance, and addressing compliance gaps.

    About the Role

    Role activity includes but is not limited to:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with Store colleagues and Regional Management Teams within the Tesco Estate.
  • Be the key point of contact for all stakeholders in regards Tesco format
  • Build and maintain great relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Act as a category ambassador and ensure effective and timely communication to Regional/Store Management relating to issues affecting the category.
  • Work with data drawn from a wide variety of internal and external sources to drive activity.
  • Maintain data quality and ensure data it is secure and utilised in line with the GDPR.
  • Create timely and relevant communication to stakeholders.
  • Deliver training for the Field Team and with local/regional Tesco teams.
  • Conduct store visits where required across region.
  • Deliver broader format analysis and direction.
  • Support the Retail Business Manager with category activity.
  • Use relevant documentation to monitor stores performance in relation to sales, compliance, shrink and other related activity and complete the relevant action in conjunction with the store.
  • Complete Route planning in a cost and time efficient manner and ensure all expenses are submit on a weekly basis.
  • Complete all required project work within the required timescales and to the required standards.
  • Complete all areas of H&S in line with team expectations.
  • Manage email communication and respond in and timely and appropriate manner.

  • About you

  • Leadership – delivering Business Unit's objectives, through the team.
  • Relationship Management – increasing influence with the key decision makers, Tesco contacts and the relevant wider supply chain Tesco contacts.
  • Stakeholder Management - networking internally & cross functionally and externally to manage senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding – of defined customer's business and the markets in which they operate. Data management and analysis skills
  • Planning – tactical delivery of customer category plan's
  • Customer service – Strong customer service ethic & results driven approach.
  • Immediate user of MS Office and SN systems
  • Experience in MS Power Apps (Would be an advantage)
  • Ability to be creative in problem solving.
  • Presentation Skills (Audience and remote requirements)
  • Challenge and discuss proactively.
