- Perform basic inspection of own work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct daily TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) of machines and the working area.
- Collaborate with the designated Team Leader to ensure daily production requirements are met.
- Maintain general housekeeping and perform daily duties within the shop to comply with health and safety standards.
- Follow a production schedule provided by the Team Leader, striving to achieve target times on a regular basis.
- Be willing to work reasonable overtime to fulfil production and business needs.
- Extensive milling experience, preferably working with fabrications.
- Proficiency in programming Fanuc, Hurco or Heidenhain
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and produce complex parts to an acceptable standard.
- Capability to work independently and use initiative to complete tasks.
- Strong time management skills to achieve target times and meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude towards health and safety in the workplace.
- Ability to work well with a team and adhere to the company's culture and values.
