Who are we?

Performance Glass Processing Ltd are a manufacturer of high-quality double-glazed units and processor of fire rated and acoustic glass products servicing customers across the whole of the UK.

Job Role
The purpose of the role is to support and to compliment our well established and hard-working team. We are looking for people with previous experience in handling and processing glass across multiple disciplines.

This is a permanent full-time position with varied roles which will require flexibility and a cross sections of skills throughout the working day.

Person
We're looking for someone who has / is

Great attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience within a manufacturing environment.
Professional, confident, and mature attitude.
Methodical working approach.
A flexible approach to your working hours to help meet customer demand and support the needs of the business.

Experience with the below would be favourable however full training will be given.

Experience preparing glass for EVA lamination.
Experience programming and operating a Lamination Oven.
Toughening plant experience (Loading, unloading, arrissing)
Other cross over skills such as spray painting, setting out, masking are desirable.

In keeping with all our team members, there will be a requirement to keep the factory clean and tidy, prepare goods for dispatch.

Other Information
We are looking at a start date as soon as possible.

Must have own safety boots.

Salary:
Wage negotiable depending on experience.

Glass processing is a potentially hazardous environment, and safety must take priority when working with stock and cut sized glass.
