    EHS Manager

    HAMBLE,UNITED KINGDOM

    EHS & Regulatory Compliance

    · Provide support to wider business to maintain ISO Cleanroom Standards and ISO 9001 Certification

    · Ensure business readiness and successful certification to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001

    · Ensure the business remains current to all HASAWA obligations and advise Management Team

    · Prepare and deliver regular EHS reporting to Site and Corporate Leadership

    · Ensure Incident Management, Fire, First Aid and other emergency procedures are developed and maintained

    · Support Operations Director with developing and maintaining a robust Business Continuity Plan.

    Team Leadership & Management

    · Manage and lead the EHS team ensuring adequate staffing levels, recruitment, training, development and performance management to maximize team productivity

    · Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports

    · Coordinate with Operations Director & HR Manager on any relevant external training requirements

    Projects

    · Support Operations Director to lead and deliver on business EHS projects

    General Duties

    · Ensure visitors and contractors are greeted, briefed and managed appropriately by the EHS team

    · Responsibility as a Fire Marshall or Mustering Officer

    · Provide cover for own team when required

    · Other ad hoc tasks as and when required

    RequirementsQioptiq Photonics Limited (An Excelitas Technologies Company) is a leading global supplier of opto-electronics and photonic products present in a variety of markets from medical and biotechnology to semiconductor and industrial markets, based in Hamble, Hampshire.Reporting to the Operations Director, the EHS Manager will coordinate EHS activity including technical support of cleanroom infrastructure to support operations. Includes leadership of the EHS team. Includes developing and improving the organization's safety management system in order to comply with regulatory requirements. Requires hands on approach to managing projects and ensuring good EHS standards, especially in cleanroom facilities.
