Estates Project Manager, Sunderland, £35,333 - £42,155 (Monday - Friday)

Client:


Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Estates Project Manager to join a large Public Sector organisation in Sunderland for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (with a strong possibility of the position becoming permanent).

The assignment canstart immediately.


Role:

The role forms part of a busy Maintenance Team, who provide a mechanical, electrical and building fabric service to the organisation's sites, duties will include;

  • Provide professional and technical support to senior management in the delivery of the Estate Strategy, development projects, major maintenance and minor works programmes
  • Administer construction and other contracts and procure and manage external consultants and contractors assisting in the delivery of projects
  • Assist in the development of business cases, project appraisals and option appraisals for works and major refurbishments

Person:


  • Significant experience within building environment/contract management
  • Previous experience of working within public buildings would be advantageous
  • Prince 2 or equivalent Project Management qualification
