    Role Description

    Our EMEA People Operations team requires an experienced HR professional for one year on a fixed term contract with a proven track record of working with managers and employees across a range of people priorities across the employee life cycle, including partnering with managers on performance management and organisational restructures. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with a problem solving and learner mindset and able to deal with ambiguity given the rate of change within the organisation and the external market.

    You will be part of the Global People and Places organisation supporting the EMEA region made up of 280 managers and employees across 9 different countries. The majority of the people are based in the UK hence experience of UK employee relations and associated legislation is critical.

    The role brings a great opportunity to work with global teams across many different cultures and disciplines ranging from finance, sales, professional services, R&D and Engineering. This team are the HR representatives for the UK and are hybrid in their work style includes working with teams across the 3 locations, Staines, Maidenhead and Chandlers Ford Staines being the key location on your office days. The role works in close partnership with the UK site committee on a range of employee engagement activities across social, physical and mental wellbeing initiatives.

    The EMEA team of 3 are an outcome driven group with a customer first mentality that drives operational excellence and a positive employee experience across all elements of the people agenda. This role is the first point of contact for all HR related queries from the business and its employees. The HR People Partner is key to the overall HR operational activity and needs to be highly organised, proactive and collaborative in their approach and delivery of the role, always looking for continuous ways of improving the HR service provided.

    Responsibilities

    • Dealing with a broad range of HR queries and being the first point of contact for employees across all elements of the employee life cycle. Capability to triage and answer queries via the EMEA central People inbox, as this is the primary engagement vehicle for all HR queries.
    • Management of new hire process, right to work checks, contract creation and onboarding.
    • First engagement point for managers providing coaching support and guidance on a wide range of people queries including employee relations scenarios. Working in partnership with the Global HR Business Partners on the more complex scenarios such as organisational design work that may require redundancy program implementation.

    Personal Attributes

    • Proven track record in an HR Operations/Generalist role and with relevant experience of partnering with managers on employee relations work.
    • Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders from a geo and seniority perspective
    • Personable with strong communication skills both from a relationship building and written communication capabilities.
    • Good knowledge of employment legislation
