JOB PURPOSE


To set up, operate and maintain a tray lining machine to ensure the safe and efficient production of high quality trays in accordance with the requirements of our customers and with full compliance to PS9000 and BRC/IoP at all times.

This role also requires preparation of the samples ready for lining including blank samples, colour mock-ups and any other items required whilst maintaining the highest quality.

Keeping material stocks up to date and stored in a clean, tidy, safe and efficient manner. Ensuring the working areas clean and tidy in a well-organised way.

Whilst remaining health and safety aware speed and flexibility is the key to this high paced demanding role.


Technical skills

  • Technically understanding of profiles and how they glue and make up.
  • Inhouse training provided for sampling and Lining Machinery.
  • Previous manufacturing experience, preferably within a print/packaging environment.
  • Set machine parameters to ensure highest quality.
  • To support the technical and creative design teams to produce physical samples when required.
  • To have a basic knowledge of ArtiosCAD but not critical.
  • To have a basic knowledge of plotting systems such as Zund and Kongsberg but not critical.
  • Understand production capabilities of all sites.
  • To continually develop new and more efficient ways to output samples and line packaging.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 08.45am 5.00pm
