JOB PURPOSE

To set up, operate and maintain a tray lining machine to ensure the safe and efficient production of high quality trays in accordance with the requirements of our customers and with full compliance to PS9000 and BRC/IoP at all times.

This role also requires preparation of the samples ready for lining including blank samples, colour mock-ups and any other items required whilst maintaining the highest quality.

Keeping material stocks up to date and stored in a clean, tidy, safe and efficient manner. Ensuring the working areas clean and tidy in a well-organised way.

Whilst remaining health and safety aware speed and flexibility is the key to this high paced demanding role.

Technical skills

Technically understanding of profiles and how they glue and make up.
Inhouse training provided for sampling and Lining Machinery.
Previous manufacturing experience, preferably within a print/packaging environment.
Set machine parameters to ensure highest quality.
To support the technical and creative design teams to produce physical samples when required.
To have a basic knowledge of ArtiosCAD but not critical.
To have a basic knowledge of plotting systems such as Zund and Kongsberg but not critical.
Understand production capabilities of all sites.
To continually develop new and more efficient ways to output samples and line packaging.
