    Job Description

    Contribute to providing and coordinating an efficient technician support service within the school's Design and Technology Department to help with promoting, delivering, and integrating key objectives related to the Education Service Plan and Community Plan.

    Requirements

    The responsibilities of this role include Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as outlined in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. Successful candidates will need to undergo the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme process. It's important to note that PVG members' records are regularly updated with new vetting information. Any relevant information from the PVG Scheme Record will be discussed with applicants before any formal job offer.

    Responsibilities

    This is a permanent part-time position based at Doon Academy, Dalmellington, with the requirement to support various school establishments across East Ayrshire on a weekly basis. The working hours are 21 hours per week, under the direction of the Line Manager.

    The Full-Time Equivalent salary for this role ranges between £28, to £31, per annum.

    The actual part-time salary is between £17, to £18, per annum.
