    Business Development Manager

    £30,000 - £40,000

    Reel Recruit is proud to partner with a leading Technology and Data organisation, headquartered in Glasgow with an additional office in Manchester, is actively expanding its team. With nearly forty years of industry expertise, this organisation is a market leader in its field, committed to enabling both government and commercial entities to foster a better society for everyone.

    The company's strategic growth strategy, underpinned by substantial investment in its product suite, is geared towards achieving significant growth over the next two years. In line with this, the organisation is enhancing its Business Intelligence division and is seeking to recruit three Business Development Managers (BDMs) to join its experienced team.

    Role Overview:

    • Focused on consultative sales within the BI Division.
    • Understanding each stage of the sales cycle is crucial for acquiring new business.
    • Aiming to assist private sector suppliers to thrive within the public sector.
    • Requires a comprehensive understanding of client needs, business strategies, and how the company's products and market insight can provide support.

    Onboarding Experience:

    • New team members are welcomed with an in-depth introduction to the company.
    • The initial month includes training on company information, market sector insights, and sales process understanding.
    • Supported by the Sales Manager and a dedicated Sales Trainer.
    • Following training, integration into the team for practical application of skills.
    • Continued support from management and colleagues as new members start applying their learning in practical scenarios.

    Candidate Profile:

    Working in a Sales environment is demanding. Ideally, candidates should have at least 1-2 years of B2B sales experience, a track record of successful sales, and a motivated, positive attitude.
