Main Purpose of the Job

Support the Custom Peptides team on chemistry related questions

Key Responsibilities

• Assists the internal sales team with answering customer's technical questions and provide pricing for uncommon derivatives.
• Accurately produce and deliver (complex) quotations for custom services.
• Coordinate quotation timelines and specifications with production teams as needed.
• Follow up on open product and/or part quotes as necessary.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer needs are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
• Help to bring business opportunities to fruition and develop long-term relationships by focusing on the unique key success factors of each customer.
• Remain engaged in ongoing projects to help ensure that customer expectations are always fully met.
• Ensure that project proposals and meeting updates are submitted in a timely manner.
• Escalate or triage inquires or customer concerns as needed to quickly support customers' needs.

Other tasks & duties related to job – and behaviour performance

• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Employee works in accordance with the installed ISO 9001 quality system and, if applicable, works in accordance with GMP-API.

Your Profile

• BSc with previous working experience in a peptide lab is essential, MSc preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Experience in a commercial environment.
• Experience with(in) the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with SAP would be preferred
• Commercial drive.
• Results driven.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Team player
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Positive approach to solve customer queries efficiently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English).
• Knowledge of common software such as Windows Offices and CRM.
• Customer service, Inside sales and experience of Quoting projects essential
• Relationship building skills
