- Managing the processing of all the divisional data for monthly payroll submission.
- Accurately checking and reconciliation of all payroll processes, including new starters, leavers, bonuses, and salary amendments into our system
- Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
- Processing holiday, sick, maternity and paternity leave payments
- Distributing forms such as P45, P60 and P11d
- Administration of Pensions and Benefits ensuring we are maintaining and delivering an excellent customer experience for all our colleagues.
- Managing any requests for information or help from stakeholders including HMRC, HR, Finance and Auditors.
- Responding to questions regarding pay and benefits policies/procedures
- Keeping abreast of the payroll processing system and changes in wage or tax laws and applies changes as appropriate.
- Establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, both internal and external.
- Experience of processing large payrolls
- Knowledge of the calculation of statuary payments, including SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP, ShPP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- In-depth understanding of human resources and labour rules and regulations
- Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
- Working knowledge of payroll software/ ADP knowledge desirable
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Interpersonal skills
- CIPP Level qualified desirable
