- Educated in either Electronics Engineering or similar
- Component level digital electronic designs for introduction into volume production.
- Development of FPGA/CPLD designs.
- Digital design including processor interfacing, memory devices, PLD interfacing, UARTs, SPI, I2C and Ethernet.
- ADC/DAC devices and techniques.
- Design proving, integration, and defect resolution.
- Gathering of evidence to support acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements, and safety.
- Detailed digital electronic circuit design including component selection, evaluation, simulation, schematic capture, and liaising with PCB design teams
- VHDL, design, code, simulation, test, and integration and embedded IP
- Design verification using a combination of simulation, analysis, and test techniques, including support to EMC test houses and customer installations.
- Generate design documentation and technical reports.
- Interfacing with related disciplines
- Assist the development of higher-level system designs and development of technical requirement specifications.
- Support system integration activities.

Electronics Design Engineer - Portsmouth HQ (2 days p/w) - Must be eligible for security clearance (British national with no dual nationality/citizenship)
A global Defence client with HQ's around the U.K are looking to bring onboard a Security cleared or willing to be security cleared Digital Electronics Design Engineer to join the team based in Portsmouth on a hybrid remote basis - 2 days a week onsite on average.
The successful candidate will be joining at a crucial time for the business as they aim to accelerate the development of a number of their products, systems and sub-systems.
