Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Tax Lawyer to join a prestigious, leading law firm in London.

Our client's Tax practice has a large international network and the multi-jurisdictional nature of many of our clients, much of their work has a cross border element, involving a number of our international offices.

The team consistently demonstrates excellence by delivering high-calibre advice across a wide spectrum of prominent and intricate mandates, as well as contentious tax issues.

They pride themselves on having a wide and general tax practice and on being adaptable, pragmatic and constructive.

The team also provides support for the firm's corporate clients and also has a strong stand-alone tax practice, advising on some of the most complex tax disputes and advisory tax mandates in the market.

The successful candidate will work closely with other departments across the firm including the corporate, private equity and funds, finance, real estate employment & pensions and litigation group.

Advising corporate and commercial clients on tax matters in a domestic and international context.

Working on the full spectrum corporate tax matters including public and private M&A, IPOs, demergers, restructurings, returns of capital, joint ventures and private capital transactions.

Excellent technical and analytical skills across contractual drafting, due diligence and providing regulatory and strategic advice.
Manage projects and transactions, and liaise closely with colleagues, clients, counterparties and other advisers.
Understanding the industries and the commercial challenges and opportunities in which our clients operate.
