    Description

    We have a role available for individuals with a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail. As a Trainee Fabricator, you will have the chance to learn from our experienced team and develop your skills in metal fabrication. This is a great chance to join a growing company and become part of a dynamic team that values innovation and creativity.

    Upon successful completion of the 3 month contract , role will become permanent . The initial pay is GBP11.44 per hour , and there are opportunities for overtime with increased rates.

    Overtime Rates:
    Weekdays: 125% Base Pay
    Saturdays: 150% Base Pay
    Sundays: 200% Base Pay

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work productively and safely in compliance with our systems of work
    • Maintain high levels of housekeeping
    • Minimise waste by using materials and consumable items efficiently
    • Fitting and assembly skills including the use of hand tools and marking out
    • Maintain good levels of workmanship and traceability
    • Measurement and inspection techniques using a variety of equipment
    • Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when required

    • Able to understand technical drawings, and apply technical information
    • Able to adeptly learn the context of a challenge and quickly integrate new skills
    • Able to identify and install improvements that are effective in achieving excellent quality, cost reduction and productivity improvements
    • Be quick to identify critical information and respond appropriately
    • Efficient at communicating through all levels of an organisation
    • Able to apportion time effectively to complete tasks

    Hours: 7am 5.30pm 4x day Mon -Thur. The doors are left open until 6.15pm for an easier commuting time.

    When overtime is avaliable, it is paid at x1.25 through the week and Friday (non scheduled day) . 1.5x Saturday, 2x Sunday.
