Beech Hill Primary School Linhope Road West Denton Newcastle upon Tyne NE5 2LW Term Time only working 3 days each week total 22.5hrs (Includes 30 minute unpaid lunch) Additional 10 days in preparation of termly audits and staff training Fixed term initially (July 2024- September 2025) Valour Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Accountant to join the teams at Walbottle Village Primary and Beech Hill Primary. The post holder's main duties will be:

• Working closely with the CEO and School Business managers to ensure the smooth operation of the finance systems.
• Managing bank reconciliations, input monthly payroll transactions.
• Working with Academy Finance System - PS Financials (experience desirable), further develop system, input financial data, produce reports and reconcile transactions.
• Manage and process all reports to EFA/DfE.
• Operate end processes including VAT returns, audit and preparation, trial balances and end of year accounts.
• Produce accounts and trial balances and report to CEO and Valour Trustees
