The Transport Planner role will include the effective planning of our customer collections & deliveries ensuring full utilisation of our own fleet.


Client Details
Our client is a leading Transport and Distribution business based in Warrington. Due to expansion we require an additional Transport Planner.


Description

  • Effective planning of our customer collections & deliveries ensuring full utilisation of our own fleet
  • Building strong working relationships with our customers, communicating any issues in real time
  • Raising customer orders and keeping our bespoke traffic system updated
  • Liaising with drivers and subcontractors daily, ensuring customer collections are running to time

Profile

  • Excellent problemsolving skills, with the awareness to escalate when required.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally & written
  • Strong geographical knowledge
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Ability to problem solve whilst remaining calm
