Site Operative - De-pack Site/Anaerobic Digestion
Castle Eden/Hartlepool
Salary between £22,000 - £30,000 (DOE)
4 on 4 off day shifts

About the role:

Astute's Renewables team is partnered with an established business within in the renewable energy sector, who run and operate a waste de-pack site to manufacture blended feedstock for their Anaerobic Digestion Plant.

They are looking to recruit Site Operatives for the de-pack site just outside of Hartlepool.

The Site Operative plays a vital part in ensuring the site is run correctly and high standards of health & safety are maintained.

The role comes with a salary of between £22,000 - £30,000 DOE (depending on experience), overtime when required and company benefits.

We are keen to speak to those who have experience within AD or a similar processing background but would also like to speak to those who are new to the sector but keen to learn and have a passion for renewable energy.

Responsibilities and duties:

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will:

Support with the day to day running of the anaerobic de-packaging/feedstock plant
Carrying out basic first line maintenance
Operating mobile plant, such as a telehandler or loading shovel
Monitoring the pant via the SCADA
Keeping the site clean and tidy
Maintaining high levels of health & safety
Other duties as required

Professional qualifications:

We are looking for someone with the following:

Mobile plant experience is desired
Engineering qualification/certificate is desired

Personal skills:

The Site Operative role would suit someone who has:

Previous Operator experience in anaerobic digestion or a similar processing environment, such as water treatment, food manufacturing
Mobile plant experience
First line maintenance experience
Agricultural experience is desired
Great work ethic

£22,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
