    About the apprenticeship

    Duties

    Develop knowledge and skills to provide advice to management and staff on employment matters, including the schools' area and Council staff more widely.

    Assist in advising and creating developments in recruitment and wider workforce appointment and planning.

    Assist in reviewing and developing staff working conditions, including researching good practice and developing ideas within the team.

    Support the team's work on responding to changes in staffing levels within departments, or changing service structure, by supporting staff who are facing job changes or potential job losses.

    Support the team's work to advise on the conduct of employment proceedings in the areas of complaints and disputes, disciplinary processes, managing sick absences, under-performance and other areas.

    Assist the team in responding to job appraisals and grade re-grading requests.

    Develop communication materials, to include information for managers, staff, trade unions, in various forms, to include conditions documents on the work and web publications.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    Qualified to at least level 2 meeting the following requirements:

    Either

    4 GCSEs grade D or above (grade C or above in mathematics)
    Level 2 vocational qualification (e.g. BTEC First Level 2 Diploma)
    For your information, any combination of qualifications with an equivalent grade will be acceptableThe right behaviour and attitude
    Do your best in the day-to-day work and qualification
