Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a company based in London that works within the PropTech sector and is looking to expand the team and hire 2 Graduate / Junior developers.


Your day-to-day duties will include upgrading a legacy tech stack and building it into a new Springboot / Microservices architecture whilst also integrating new software and working across the full software development lifecycle.

They will be looking toimplement cloud through AWS and containers in Docker over the course of the next 12 months, so this could be the perfect time for you to join and upskill as well as be a fundamental part of the team.

Some of the tech used here: Java, Springboot, JSP, React, REST, Rackspace, and JWT.


The company is very flexible with working hours and works on a hybrid basis 2-3 days in the office per week in Moorgate.


Skills needed:


  • Java
  • Strong OOP understanding
  • SQL experience
  • 2:1 or above in Computer Science / Mathematics or Physics

Desirables:


  • Springboot
  • REST / JSON
  • JWT
  • PostgreSQL
  • React experience
  • Linux command line knowledge
  • UI Design
  • Project deployment tools such as Docker


The salary for this position is up to £50,000 + discretionary Bonus + 25 days holiday + Flexible working hours.
