The successful applicant will contribute to the Department's research, teaching, and external engagement, including through

  • Research projects, proposals, & publications; supervising student projects; collaborating internally and externally on research
  • Teaching/providing support to students at all levels of study, and carrying out associated processes; contributing to programme design and content; innovating in delivery and assessment; engaging with quality assurance
  • Supporting students on industrial placements; delivering research impact; pursuing opportunities for industrial engagement; enhancing the University's reputation with professional bodies


We are looking for someone with qualifications and practical experience in Supply Chain Management, with a particular focus on supplier engagement, relationship management, and the commercial agreements which underpin these.


The ability to work with a range of learners, including those on non-standard programmes is an important attribute, as is the desire to contribute to a positive, collegiate environment, building good relationships with students, industry partners and colleagues.
