    Description

Help Rosemary start her day comfortably while having the flexibility to manage your own

If you're a female health or care sector worker seeking some additional hours or flexibility, this opportunity is tailored for you. Embrace a fulfilling role that accommodates your schedule - whether it's a job share arrangement or fitting perfectly with daily routines like the school run.

An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant(s) with care experience to help support Rosemary, an elderly lady based with family in a country location in the Dumfries/Lockerbie area, to get up mid-morning, get showered and dressed. After offering general assistance in the bathroom, you would then give her breakfast once you have helped her settle for the day back in her bedroom.

Rosemary likes quietly watching TV or dozing in the mornings or observing the birds and farm animals she can see from her room. She speaks very little and is largely reclusive. But she can smile and manage greetings and farewells. She is reasonably well aware of whats going on around her and does enjoy gentle companionship sometimes, where nothing is required of her.

When she gets to know someone, she becomes quietly comfortable around them. She will usually reply politely to questions and may even make the odd enquiry of her own. But this is unlikely to lead to much of a two-way conversation.

She is most comfortable following her own routine, and likes life best when everything is familiar, predictable and goes to plan.

    Requirements:

  • £12.50 per hour
  • hours per week including weekends (10am - 12 noon)
