As part of our client's strategic growth plan, we are recruiting a talented Project Engineer to join their Project Engineering Team.
The Projects department is responsible for delivering our client's capital projects schemes.From multi-million-pound plants to smaller works, our projects span heavy industrial crushing plants to automated bagging plants, covering various sectors including chemical, biological, quarrying, and stone processing.
As a Project Engineer, you will lead projects from conception to handover, ensuring robust, technically sound, and H&S compliant solutions.
Your role encompasses managing safe working practices, adhering to regulations, and ensuring project delivery within defined scopes.Manage project delivery within defined parameters of time, cost, and quality.
# Conduct feasibility studies and compile budget estimates for new plant projects.
# Supervise contract work and labour, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards.
# Maintain project records and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
# Mentor junior project engineers and provide technical expertise.
# Compliance with Company Management System (CMS) and policies.
# Minimum Qualifications:
HNC in Electrical, Mechanical, or Project Engineering
Apprenticeship:
Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
and NEBOSH certificate
Experience in leading capital projects and managing contractors
Skills:
Budget management skills and proficiency in AutoCAD
Computer Literacy:
MS Office proficiency
Commercial awareness and leadership qualities.
