Job Title:
Secondary School Teaching Assistant - ALN Support

Location:
Cardiff

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). Zen Educate are seeking a dedicated Secondary School Teaching Assistant to join our team in Cardiff.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to students with ALN in a secondary school setting.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement individualised learning plans.
  • Assist students with academic tasks and help them develop essential skills.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:


  • Experience working with students with ALN is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm


Salary:
From £450.00 per week


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Experience:


  • Behaviour management: 3 years (preferred)
  • Classroom: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • DBS on update service (required)
  • EWC registration (preferred)

Work Location:
In person
