We are looking for a full-time, permanent position in EMEA at United Kingdom, London.

Job Purpose:

• Manage FSL and Customer Insurance classes (marine) of risk under the direction
  of VP Marine and VP FSL.
• Assess and evaluate marine
  exposures arising from DHL Group business activities and provide risk
  financing solutions in line with the Group Insurance & Risk Management
  Strategy and within delegated authority.
• Oversee effective and efficient
  provision of marine insurance management services ensuring compliance to
  insurance regulations either direct or via regional insurance managers.
• Act as a trusted advisor on
  marine insurance matters including support to the contract risk management
  function and pricing within DOAG of customer contract terms.
• Provide assistance to the VP
  Marine and VP FSL as required and contribute to the overall marine insurance
  strategy.

Your tasks:

• Develop and execute strategies
  impacting business results.
• Communicate effectively at a
  senior management level across borders.
• Demonstrate strong numerical and
  process management skills.
• Act as a trusted advisor on
  regulatory compliance.
• Identify and evaluate marine
  risks from service scopes and contracts.
• Maintain a deep understanding of
  the organization's structure and key marine risks.
• Manage and develop global marine
  insurance programs, ensuring market share growth and optimization.
• Participate in annual marine
  program negotiations and budget guidance processes.
• Analyze complex marine insurance
  risks to ensure compliance with governance and regulations.

Your Profile:

• Holds a university degree or
  professional qualification in insurance.
• Strong experience in insurance
  within a global multinational context (ideally marine or transportation insurance
  experience)
• Underwriting experience (3+ years)
• Extensive background in marine
  insurance and international trade law.
• Familiarity with logistics and supply
  chain operations.
• Excellent written and spoken
  English (additional languages preferred).
• Proficient in data analysis,
  project management, and Microsoft Office.
