    Job summary

    Are you a Practice Nurse who wants to enjoy the full range of Practice Nurse duties, such as immunisations, smears, wound management and chronic disease management whilst building good relationship with our diverse patients? If yes, then this could be the role for you This excellent surgery is seeking a Practice Nurse to come in and enjoy a wide variety of responsibilities, that will keep things very interesting from day to day.

    Main duties of the job

    Your Role:

  • Provides opportunity to make a positive change to our diverse community
  • Combines teamwork with autonomy in decision making, within the remit of the role
  • Supports participation in delivery of a highstandard and evidence based care to our patient population.
  • Hours 24hours a week to be worked on:

    Option 1.

    Monday, Thursday and Fridays combination ofam and pm shifts

    Option 2.

    Monday, Tuesday, Friday - combination of amand pm shifts

    Please note that you will be required to workacross all 3 sites.

    Person Specification

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • Qualifications Essential:
  • Registered General Nurse
  • Minimum of 3 years post qualification nursing experience
  • Qualification in chronic disease management and or INR or willingness to be trained in these areas would be an advantage
  • Desirable

  • Prior experience of working with SystmOne clinical system would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given, so a willingness and ability to learn quickly will be key to your success in this role.
