- To take professional responsibility for the clinical screening of prescriptions to ensure the accuracy, legality, safety, and effectiveness of prescribed medication in line with pharmacy SOP
- To identify potential risks to patients when screening prescriptions and resolve relevant issues prior to dispensing
- To liaise with doctors and nurses to resolve any queries arising from the screening process
- To provide advice on the safe prescribing and administration of medicines
- To participate in stock review, including controlled drugs and ensure medicines are kept safely and securel
