    Description

    RG Consultancy are working with a retail business based in Burnley, Lancashire who are looking for an accounts assistant to support them on a 9 month contract. This role is working within a team of 4 and reporting into the financial controller.

    Having experience of accounts is essential for this role, and ideally someone with strong MS Excel experience.

    Duties will include:

    • Work closely with the finance team to reconcile the sales ledger
    • Processing purchase invoices
    • Processing receipts into the cashbook
    • Posting credit card transactions
    • Reconcile stock
    • Support with other ad-hoc duties

    Experience:

    • Strong MS Excel skills including any experience with Pivot tables/Look ups/Formulas
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Attention to detail
