    Position Title: Controls Engineer

    My client is one of the world's leading mobility technology companies for development, simulation and testing in the automotive industry, and in other sectors. An exciting opportunity has developed for a Controls Engineer, the role requires working with other team members and the customer to deliver controls and powertrain engineering projects according to the plan.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Support process for powertrain control requirements development.
    • Design, simulate, implement, debug, test and research control and estimation algorithms for various electrical, mechanical, and thermal systems in powertrain systems.
    • Engage with suppliers and other stake holders to review hardware and software attributes.
    • Develop the Software and Controls for the electrified powertrain.

    Qualifications

    • Engineering/Science Degree (or equivalent).
    • Automotive engineering knowledge/experience in design and validation for electrified powertrain systems.
    • Experience of automotive control systems software development, data logging and calibration tools.
