Hybrid - 2 days at site (NG1) 3 days from home

We are searching for a strong Management Accountant / Finance Manager (min 3 years PQE) to join our client as Financial Controller for their UK business.

Reporting to the CFO and managing a team of 3 this role is broad in nature and holds responsibility for:

Management of the month-end / quarter-end / year-end closing plus annual budgeting / monthly forecasting for the company
Reconciliation of stock across multiple locations
Cash management/forecasting, ensuring any surplus funds are remitted to the parent company
Production of statutory accounts
Streamline the monthly reporting with analysis and improvement plans
Develop and coach a small team
Review of and improvement of processes
Critically challenge business plans and ideas to ensure projects are achievable

This role is a fantastic move for a strong Management Accountant keen to take the next step. Ideally you will possess experience managing small teams and undertaking a wide range of tasks. Our clients business operates globally, any exposure to a multi national/global business environment is highly advantageous. Experience with Excel to an advanced level along with experience of ERP such as Oracle, SAP, Dynamics for example.
