The Apprentice will undertake the relevant training to develop the necessary skills in the chosen trade and manufacture/design equipment to satisfy the business product and project range.


During the scheme, you will complete placements within engineering and operations, designed to be flexible to support your career objectives and development.

These placements will give you the chance to utilise and build your skills across the engineering disciplines.


Wherever possible, we will consider a variety of working options to suit your lifestyle, whether that be hybrid home/office working, flexible working and part or full time employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending workshops and participating in as many learning opportunities as possible.
  • Assisting within the relevant department, but also learning about other aspects of the company.
  • Observing health and safety procedures.
  • Completing all tests, presentations, and other required evaluations.
  • Working on site and traveling to other sites when required.
  • Positively receiving feedback.
  • Attending meetings and offering suggestions for improvement.
  • Keeping a log of everything learned.
  • Building professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Supporting the teams engineering capabilities with individual skill and determination.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), grade 4 of above (inc. Maths, English and Science) or evidence of predicted grades.
  • Ability to communicate effectively within peer group and with manager / team leader.
  • Capable of producing good oral and written communications.
