£35,750 (BSP) / £39,000 (STP) per annum

We are looking for a Product Owner to lead a new team that will focus on Universal Viewer at the British Library.

Universal Viewer is a community-developed open source project on a mission to help us share our content with the world.

The post holder will have a good understanding of working with software developers and business areas.

Taking an agile and user-centred approach you will be part of a team bringing a culture of delivery and service design, helping to bridge the gap between community and Library efforts making knowledge accessible to everyone.

As one of the world's great libraries, our duty is to preserve the nation's intellectual memory for the future and make it available to all for research, inspiration and enjoyment.

At present we have well over 170 million items, in most known languages, with three million new items added every year.

We have manuscripts, maps, newspapers, magazines, prints and drawings, music scores, and patents. We make our collections and programmes available to all.

We operate the world's largest document delivery service providing millions of items a year to customers all over the world.
