Shop Assistant
Hadfields the Bakery Ltd is a locally owned and operated business located in Huddersfield. We are a family-owned business that has been in business for over 40 years. We have been able to maintain a strong customer base through the efforts of our employees.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, team player who is willing to learn and grow with our company. This position will be assisting customers with their order and needs. The Shop Assistant will be required to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Greeting customers, answering questions, and helping with purchase decisions
Ordering and checking out with customers
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Assisting customers with any questions about our products or the company
Assisting customers with sizing and ordering of their apparel
Maintaining a clean store environment
General store duties including cleaning the store, restocking products, etc.
Ability to work some Saturdays as needed (not required)

Experience:

Prior experience working in retail is preferred but not required. We will train the right person with the right attitude
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs for returns only (not required)
Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day (not required)
Must have reliable transportation (not required)

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 5 per week

Salary:
£9.00-£10.00 per hour
