Our client is seeking a Accounts Payable Manager
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 pa DOE
Location: Dartford
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, hybrid working and flex time available
After training 2 days pw office based
Benefits: 25 days leave + BH
6% target bonus

Accounts Payable Manager duties and responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Manage the full cycle of accounts payable processes.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to streamline accounts payable processes and enhance efficiency.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Participating in the implementation of regional and global projects, accelerating the Finance team in achieving its objectives.
Input and maintain all Supplier Invoices (UK, Netherlands & Hungary).
Match invoices to Purchase Orders.
Coding of Non PO Purchase Invoices.
Intercompany processing.
Send invoices for authorisation via Oracle Workflow.
Management of Oracle Workflow via distribution sets, supplier and cost centre listings.
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of payment issues.
Concur administrator (expense management system).
Weekly import Concur expenses.
Arrange weekly payment runs (all currencies).
Make other payments using electronic banking platform(s).
Ensure all Direct Debits are posted to the correct accounts and allocated accordingly.
Reconcile supplier statements to Accounts Payable.
Reconcile Accounts Payable to the General Ledger at Month end by transferring all AP information to the GL, prepare accrual journal for Accounts Assistant to post.
Carry out staff performance review.
Maintain SOPs for all Accounts Payable procedures.
Administration of Company Cars.
Accounts Payable Manager person specification:
Essential

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Demonstrated experience managing accounts payable processes in a medium to large organization.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving efficiencies.
• Must be able to work in a logical and methodical manner and work accurately with an eye for detail.
• Must be able to prioritise with strong organisation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Intermediate level of spreadsheet skills in Excel.

• Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) or equivalent.
• Experience preferably in a multi-entity or international environment.
• Experience of working within manufacturing /pharma.
• Oracle ERP.

• Ideally have own transport
