    We are seeking consultants with enthusiasm, commitment, and drive to work closely with colleagues throughout the organisation and within the community to help lead the organisation.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join the Oral Surgery department at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. The successful candidate will join a service that prides itself in effective leadership, innovative thinking, and excellent teamwork.

    This full-time post is based at Lister Hospital in Stevenage and comprises 10 programmed activities (PAs) with no on-call commitment.

    The appointee will be expected to cover clinical sessions as specified in the provisional job plan and expected to provide support for the management of Oral Surgery patients.

    The appointee will join a team of 5 consultants, 2 Specialist doctors and a full complement of junior and support staff.

    The ability to work closely and flexibly with colleagues including consultants, junior staff and management team is an essential requirement for this appointment.

    Broad range of experience in Oral Surgery
    Qualifications / Training
    Full registration with the United Kingdom General Dental Council on the Oral Surgery Specialist list with the United Kingdom General Dental Council or within 6 months of eligibility for inclusion
    Possession of a Certificate of Accreditation or eligibility for a CCST in Oral Surgery, or equivalent
    Postgraduate qualification in Oral Surgery or Leadership/Management or equivalent (e.g., Possession of the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Examination in Oral Surgery or equivalent for other European Economic Area (EEA) Nationals upon taking up post
