Torque Consulting is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for A global engineering business in Leeds looking to add multiple heads to its Engineering Department.

This role is a full life cycle role with the client expecting someone to be involved with everything from blank sheet design, specifications, customer interaction, 3D CAD, production test & validation and taking a product through to manufacture.

This an outstanding position for a Mechanical Design Engineer with proven industry experience to work with advanced technology at a company that offers a great salary/benefits package as well as long term progression.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
HNC/D or degree in Mechanical Engineering
Excellent 3D CAD skills (all major packages considered)
Complex assemblies and sub-assemblies
Electronic/Electrical product design background (desirable)
