    Role Overview

    We're seeking a talented Senior Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of the Transport sector. As a key member of the IMI Global Transport Finance team, you'll be at the forefront of driving insights, supporting business growth, and implementing process improvements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Financial Reporting Excellence: Drive the delivery of monthly actuals reporting, annual budget, and quarterly forecasts. Analyse profit and loss, challenge unusual movements, and take ownership of management reporting packs. Provide business partnering support to sites and ensure timely reporting.
    • Business Intelligence Advancement: Lead the evolution of Divisional BI tools by implementing reporting automation improvements and developing insightful financial reporting and forecasting tools. Deliver training on BI tools to enhance team capabilities.
    • Project Leadership: Take charge of ad-hoc projects and analysis aligned with business requirements, demonstrating your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

    Critical Competencies for Success:

    • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with post-qualification experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
    • Basic project management experience, ERP working knowledge (SAP, JDE, Oracle), and prior use of BI tools (Cognos, Power BI) are advantageous.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, coupled with excellent analytical abilities to interpret complex data.
    • Drive delivery excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
    • Approach challenges with a can-do attitude, proactive problem-solving skills, and a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
    • Demonstrate effective stakeholder engagement skills and embrace IMI's One Big Team ethos.
