    Job Description Research & Development Project Co-Ordinator

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient implementation of research and development projects within the business which involves coordinating project activities, overseeing timelines and effective communication amongst team members and other departments to help promote innovation and accomplish project goals

    Understanding of Research and Development (R&D) function - A solid grasp of the scientific and technical aspects relevant to the organisation's projects.

    This includes familiarity with research methodologies, experimental design, and data analysis. Industry Trends and Innovations - Staying informed about global trends, emerging technologies, and breakthroughs in relevant fields is essential. An R&D coordinator should be aware of what's happening beyond their immediate environment.

    ~ Performance Feedback - Providing constructive feedback to team members and recognising their achievements.

    ~ Upper Management Engagement - Relate well to upper management. Effective Communication - Clear communication with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams ensures alignment and smooth project execution.

    ~ Data-Driven Decision-Making - Ability to analyse data, interpret results, and make informed decisions. Design and Conduct Experiments - Confident designing and overseeing prototypes/field testing.

    ~ Adaptability - The ability to adapt to changing project requirements, unexpected results, and evolving priorities is crucial.

    Previous Project Management experience
    Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.

    Experience in electronics / software
    Understanding of the food manufacturing industry

    Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job and participate in appropriate training activities.

    Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job, whether that be on-the-job training, in-house training or external training courses.
