Description
Our Global Blue Chip client is seeking an experienced Senior Financial analyst to join their growing team. This role attracts a competitive salary of up to £43,000 and BPSS clearance.


Whilst this is listed as a hybrid role, it is more remote working with requirement to work from our Head Office in Aldershot 2-3 days per week for the first 6-months.

After the 6 months training period, you will be working full-time, Monday to Friday fromhome & be willing to travel to the Head Office in Aldershot, Hampshire when required.


Responsibilities:


  • Chair and organise regular finance reviews and presenting on financial performance.
  • Act as Finance Lead and SME on various finance and business projects as allocated by the UK&I Finance Manager, ensuring project objectives are met on time.
  • Act as the deputy for the UK&I Finance Manager, providing critical and trusted support.
  • Working with operational managers to ensure appropriate profitability of customer accounts in the specific areas.
  • Providing business partner support to operational managers at multiple levels, acting as a trusted finance expert and adviser.
  • Being part of the EMEA internal "Business Intelligence" extended team cross departmental company community.
  • Providing indepth analysis of Business KPI's and presenting results to senior managers.
  • Analysing at nonfinancial metrics and business data at both UKI and European level, trend analysis and working with other departments to understand what's driving results and how that could impact financial performance.
  • Supporting the EMEA FP&A Lead analyst on a number of European reporting tasks and processes and providing backup on reporting results up through the wider company.

Essential requirements:


  • Minimum part qualification in CIMA/ACCA or equivalent with drive to continue studies.
  • Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle & willing to travel to the Office in Aldershot when required.
  • Proficient in Excel, you're comfortable with pivots, lookups and able to write formulas
  • A track record of gathering data, assisting business managers in enhancing company performance, and giving financial analytics and recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and nonfinancial management.
  • The capacity to establish relationships both face to face and virtually.

Desired Skills:


  • 45 years of experience in accounting/finance, some with financial analysis.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, such as ability to write VBA/macros, pivot tables, vlookups and formulas.
  • Experience in modern analytical tools such as Tableau or Power BI is advantageous (or the ability to pick up such tools quickly).
  • Experience in using SAP, or other ERP system.
  • Experience in dealing with large amounts of data.
