Full Time, 12 month renewable contract

We are seeking a Digital Media Editor for CGTN's Biz Department.

This role involves producing TV programs and digital media content that covers economic news, business trends, market-moving policies, and in-depth analysis for a global audience.

As a Digital Media Editor, you will play a crucial role in the entire editorial process, from generating ideas and writing scripts to shooting and post-production.

Edit videos for , CGTN Biz, and various social media platforms.
Publish videos on a daily basis to provide creative and engaging content for a global audience.
Generate additional video content tailored for social and digital platforms.
Shoot and produce videos with visual effects using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and FCP software.
Demonstrate a high standard of editorial judgment and headline writing skills.
Contribute to the online service with your digital skills.
Experience in video editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite and FCP software.
Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, editing, and post-production.
Extensive knowledge of and active use of social media platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook.
Previous media experience, preferably at a news network.
At least two years of post-graduate work experience as an editor (required for Visa purposes).
Proficient English writing and communication skills.
