    Contract Type: Temporary until March 2025

    Hours: 1 x 18.5 hours per week

    Salary: Grade C SCP 5-6 £23,500 - £23,893 paid pro rata for part time hours

    Our children's services team is leading the way with exciting developments to further improve the lives of children and families. The Family Hubs in Blackpool bring together a range of services for children aged with SEND), including the Start for Life offer.

    As a result, we want a team of Family Hub Connectors to work within our localities to engage with and connect local families to services specifically aimed at promoting their; engagement in activities with their children, mental and personal health and family well-being.

    These Family Hub Connectors will have contact with families and other agencies in Blackpool and ensure that families are supported to both access services and support development of new services. The role will have a key focus in ensuring that services are available which support parents interactions from pregnancy and into parenthood within the areas of Parent-Infant relationships.

  • experience of working with children under five and their families
  • an understanding of the work and role of Family Hubs and of the Early Years and Child Development
  • good communications skills both written and verbal
  • an ability to promote information to a range of audiences
  • The ability to deliver high quality practice and embrace our Blackpool Families Rock approach
  • To be a reflective practitioner who embraces and promotes strengths based work.
